Clean foam discards are turned into chips then mixed with a small amount of binding agent and pressed into blocks that look like carpet underlay. Those are then cut to the needed mattress size, a 1/2” foam is added to both top and bottom then a tape edged cotton covered finishes  this great mattress. Makes a good firm quality mattress at a surprisingly good price. For kids, RV’s, boats and spare beds this is a great value!
